Although I have been officiating for CLM for the last 11 years, I
decided to attend the marriage course as a refresher. I am so glad I
did! Connecting with new officiants who are coming to the course
with fresh enthusiasm and passion I was inspiring for me. I left the
course feeling energized, and like a “newbie” again. The facilitator
was skilled in his presentation style giving everybody an
opportunity to ask questions, share stories, and connect with each
other. The course was informative and was a great refresher,
reminding me of little details that I need to include in ceremonies.
I would recommend anyone taking this course just to help remind them
that what we do is all about building relationships and officiating
with excellence.

I had thought about becoming a Marriage Officiant for a number of years, but did nothing about it. When my niece asked me, at her engagement party, if I would consider marrying her and her fiancé, I was speechless (that doesn't happen often, my boys will confirm that!) but it reignited a fresh desire to become licensed, it gave me an end goal to aim for.
